Children (Birth to 5th Grade)
Every Sunday in the Family Life Center
Young children(birth to age 5) are taken to the classes by parents in the nursery and toddler rooms. There are FBC teachers and FBC volunteers who care for your children so you may attend Sunday School and worship. The Gospel Project is being used for Sunday School material for our Kindergarten to 5th Grade students. The children remain in the Sanctuary for worship service, until they are dismissed to Children's Church for Bible lessons, songs, snacks, and games.
Youth (6-12th Grades)
Wednesday Evenings Youth Group and Special Activities
Wednesday evenings, the students get together for Bible Study, games, snacks, and fellowship. The students are led by our Minister of Youth, Peter Simmon. The group meets weekly throughout the year, but also has special events, service projects, and trips. Peter has a parent group, the Youth Ministry Team, assisting him with these events. Youth and parents can learn about topics studied and events on the youth group Facebook page.

Meets the third Thursday every month Feb through Nov
The Keenagers of First Baptist Church is a group of Christians that are fifty years of age and older. The purpose of the group meetings is to fellowship with fellow Christians, enjoy a pitch-in lunch and an informative program or a field trip outside the church. Our most recent outing was a visit to the Frank Lloyd Wright home in West Lafayette. Our next luncheon will be Thursday, Oct 19 at noon with Dr. Kathy Steele, retired CCSC superintendent. She will be sharing about her trip to Africa.
Musicians always welcome
Praise team, special performances, small ensembles, and other opportunities are available. If you have a gift for music, whether it be singing or playing an instrument, and have interest in using those talents for the Lord and in the church, contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Go out and spread the Gospel
We are a mission-minded church and we believe in sharing the gospel with others on a national and international level. Children, youth, and adults get involved in mission outreach. Some of the mission trips we have taken are Operation Christmas Child Packing locations, Inner City Chicago, Inner City Washington DC, Cambodia, Country of Georgia, Mexico. Thailand, and Ethiopia.
Reaching Out Around the World
FBC has several ministry partners locally and abroad that we support financially, but also through prayer and encouragement. Please see our Missionary Partners page for more information.
