Our Missionary Partners
The Ayele Family:
Argaw and Rachel Ayele are the founders of the local NGO, Ebenezer Supporting and Development Association (ESDA), and oversee the Ebenezer Family of homes and ministries. Argaw is originally from southern Ethiopia. Rachel is from Indiana. They met at Calvary Chapel Bible College Europe in 2005. Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Ethiopia. They have five children; Adonijah, Elias, Genesis, Gracie, and Stella.
Jed & Renee Gourley:
Jed and Renee have been involved in foreign missions for over 20 years. Jed and Renee serve in Tbilisi, Georgia along with their five children. They have started a church and teach English as an outreach.
Jason & Megan Harshbarger:
Jason is the director of Chi Alpha Campus Ministries at Indiana State University. Chi Alpha is abbreviated for Christ's Ambassadors, as their ministry exists to see unchurched students and professors engaged with the Gospel and reconciled to God. Chi Alpha is focused on proclaiming the Gospel of Christ and making disciples who make disciples. Chi Alpha is also being planted on the Rose-Hulman, Ivy Tech and St. Mary of the Woods campuses in Terre Haute, Indiana. Jason and Megan have been blessed with four children and love spending time together as a family.
Pastor Hung:
Pastor Hung serves near Phnom Penh, Cambodia as a local pastor in a predominately Buddhist culture. He is glad that new believers are following Christ through his work. He has begun training up other church leaders in the neighborhood he serves so that he can begin church plants in nearby areas.
Tim & Patti Long:
Patti and Tim Long began their mission service in Baja California, Mexico, in July 1996. Patti ministers as special education teacher and resource specialist at the Monte Horeb Baptist Grade School in Tijuana, a school that reaches out to the most vulnerable of the city's young population, its children with special needs. She also coordinates the STEP scholarship program for students at the school. Tim serves in leadership development through the Baja Baptist Seminary, teaching present and future church leaders, both at its Mexicali campus and extension centers located throughout Baja California. He also coordinates a scholarship program for seminary students.
Pete Zull:
Pete leads the Purdue University ISI team of culturally sensitive and concerned staff and volunteers, who are reaching out to the almost 9,000 international students at Purdue. The ISI team at Purdue offers friendship to any student, regardless of race, nationality, or religious preference. They offer English conversation, cultural events, and just plain fun as they seek to help international students feel welcome to life in W. Lafayette, Indiana. Some events include english conversation in groups and one-on-one, bible studies and Christian fellowship.
Carrie Lyman:
Carrie Lyman works with International Students Inc at the Purdue University Campus in West Lafayette.
Carrie is involved in many of the ministries within ISI including the Titus Two and Supper Club.
